Debenham Energy was started in 2004 to fill an underserved niche market utilizing "mid sized" wind turbines in Distributed Generation (DG) or "behind-the-meter" applications.

Scott Debenham

Scott Debenham has 20 years in the energy industry including Nuclear (Navy Submarines), Gas Turbines (Solar Turbines Inc), Energy Savings Performance Contracting (Planergy/EMI and NORESCO) and for the last 3 years the distributed generation wind market.Scott managed the development of the self financed hybrid renewable (wind and solar PV) project at the Victorville Federal Prison. This unique project is described in the Articles and Presentations portion of the website.

I focus primarily on the California market and team with the appropriate consultants, turbine manufacturers, financiers, contractors and O&M service provides that are appropriate for the specific project. I take the lead role in and responsibility for the development effort and I am the customers point of contact for the duration of the project.
