About Debenham Energy
Debenham Energy was started in 2004 to fill an underserved niche
market utilizing "mid sized" wind turbines in Distributed
Generation (DG) or "behind-the-meter" applications.
Scott Debenham
Scott Debenham has 20 years in the energy industry including Nuclear
(Navy Submarines), Gas Turbines (Solar Turbines Inc), Energy Savings
Performance Contracting (Planergy/EMI and NORESCO) and for the last
3 years the distributed generation wind market. Scott managed the
development of the self financed hybrid renewable (wind and solar
PV) project at the Victorville Federal Prison. This unique project
is described in the Articles and Presentations portion of the website.

I focus primarily on the California market and team with the appropriate
consultants, turbine manufacturers, financiers, contractors and O&M
service provides that are appropriate for the specific project. I
take the lead role in and responsibility for the development effort
and I am the customers point of contact for the duration of the project.

Valerie Stuart
Valerie Stuart is a technical consultant with experience in the
energy field including renewables, cogeneration, distributed generation
and economic analysis. Her recent projects include the analysis and
ranking of prospective solar and wind project sites; feasibility
studies for wind projects including wind maps, estimated energy output,
and the diurnal impact on TOU rate tariffs; and economic analyses
including state incentives, rebates, and federal tax incentives.
She received her B.S. in mechanical engineering from UC Santa Barbara
and her M.A. in international management from UC San Diego. She brings
a broad technical and business perspective to projects having worked
internationally for several large corporations such as Caterpillar,
Sundstrand, and PETCO before starting up her own consulting business.
Valerie uses her advanced skills in Microsoft and Adobe and GIS
software to deliver exactly what clients require, such as an
integrated website,
formal report, relational database, document management system,
or advanced spreadsheet analysis tool. Prior becoming a consultant,
Valerie worked for Solar Turbines as Marketing Manager for Power
Generation and Bid & Proposal Manager for Alliance Customer Sales.
She traveled extensively to support international project development
in Europe, Asia, Mexico, and South America and is fluent in Spanish
and Portuguese.
